From Cruise Port:    Auckland

Make sure you have booked yourself on the 9am Fullers ferry from Auckland to Waiheke Island - the scenic trip takes 45 minutes and offers a stunning cruise across the Auckland harbour past the naval dockyard of Devonport and the volcanic island of Rangitoto. Your guide will be waiting for you at the Matiatia wharf and your island tour commences with a drive along the scenic northern route, taking in spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf and beyond to the Coromandel Peninsula.

Our most popular shared group tour experience, ideal for food and wine lovers. The day begins with a visit to a boutique vineyard for a guided wine tasting, complemented by gourmet tastes such as Te Matuku Bay oysters and local Waiheke honey. Continue to the award-winning Allpress Estate for an informative olive oil tasting and an introduction to the islands renowned olive oil production. At the second vineyard, enjoy a wine and food pairing, followed by a relaxed, family-style lunch showcasing seasonal flavours in a beautiful vineyard setting. The final stop is at The Heke, where you can taste a range of their products including a local beer, gin, whisky and a liquor.

The tour concludes with the option to return to Matiatia Wharf or be dropped off in Oneroa Village to explore at your leisure.

If you wish, from here you can stay on for dinner (at your own expense) and make your own way back to the ferry when you are ready or alternatively the guide will return you to the Waiheke Wharf in time to catch the 4pm ferry back to Auckland.
